A day at the beach

A day at the beach, what could be better?

Well actually it was only a half day, but it was great! The sun was shining, as it has everyday since we arrived. The weather was perfect.
We had working vehicles and an uneventful trip, it is always a blessing from God to be able to say that..... God is so good to us!

I was at the clinic in the morning getting to know my way around, while Kathy and Todd were busy taking the Interns (who arrived yesterday) on a tour of the Ray of Light Project.

By 12:30 we were all on the road headed to the beach.

Kathy and I have been here in Mozambique for just over 2 weeks and this was our first opportunity to unwind.
Personally I love hearing the sound of the waves, I could sit and listen to the ocean for hours.

As I watched the waves and listened I thought about Jim and our trip to Maine. We were so blessed by God to have had time together.
I found myself praising God once again, because as I sat there He blessed me with a sense of comfort in my heart.

A sense that I was exactly where I was suppose to be, exactly where God wanted me, in His will. Even more comforting was the sense that Jim was exactly where he was suppose to be as well.

I will continue to praise God for all that He provides, everyday!  Everything from a car that runs, to a few hours on the beach.
To our Lord's promise to never leave us, and to complete the work He has started in us.
To always provide for ALL of our needs, to be our great comforter.
Thank you Jesus, I love you.
